Aero: Group Fitness Sessions

AeroMax Group Fitness offers both Freestyle and Les Mills Group Fitness sessions that are just perfect for the beginner exerciser right through to the more advanced participant.

From the ever popular Body Pump and Body Step to the intense Group PT and ABS xps to the holistic Yoga and Pilates, there are classes that would suit everybody.

And with Group Fitness Instructors that are fully qualified and experienced, you're certain to get excited with each and every class!

Check out the following AERO sessions held at the Club:

BODYATTACK® is a cardiovascular interval training program that combines high intensity aerobics, strength and stabilisation exercises. Sessions are high in motivation, provided by dynamic instructors and exciting music. All participants can achieve their fitness goals by following the simple movements. BODYATTACK® is a rapid calorie burner that delivers fast improvement in general endurance and an increase in overall body strength.

BODYPUMP® is a 60-minute session using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning. After an initial warm-up, all the major muscle groups are worked via a series of weight-bearing exercises including squats, presses and lifts. The session finishes with a cool-down and stretch.

BODYSTEP® is a cardiovascular program that uses a height-adjustable step. Providing a high energy cardio workout to music, BODYSTEP® features high intensity intervals followed by muscle conditioning tracks designed to shape and tone the entire lower body while pushing fat-burning systems into high gear.

ABS xps focuses on toning and strengthening your abdominal and back areas. This 30 min power session will provide you with a challenging and effective core workout. Sessions are designed for all participants from beginners right through to advanced. Seriously fan-abs-tastic! 

BOXERCISE pushes the limits of your endurance and strength in this fun, motivating session. The revolution of boxing and circuit training has all the benefits of high calorie burning and cardio fitness combines with interval and variety. Let your boxing coach blitz you into shape!

CIRCUIT improves all-around physical fitness with a focus on individual exercises, pushing yourself to your own limit with minimum direction from the instructor. Suitable for all fitness levels.

CYCLE
takes you for the ride of your life! This 45 minute session utilises heart-rate training principles to optimise calorie burning or cardiovascular fitness and provides a challenge for the first timer through to the most advanced participant. You work at your own pace in sessions that focus on endurance, strength, interval recovery or race day. Power along to the groove of sensational music, motivating trainers and burn fat fast!

CYCLE xps is the express 30-minute session that focuses on calorie burning and work within the fat conversion training zones. An interval spike gets the metabolic rate moving in a fun, easy, time saving program.

CYCLE plus takes you even further! A 60-minute session, your core also gets a workout giving you an overall conditioning program.

FITBALL was developed to surpass the therapeutic and rehabilitation benefits of exercising on a fitness ball. Ball work-outs are safe, effective and a fun way for people of all ages and fitness levels to develop tone, increase strength and improve flexibility.

GROUP PT is all the rage with a maximum focus total body workout . It's simple body conditioning that targets stubborn areas.

PILATES is an innovative system of mind-body exercise evolved to dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. It builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen. It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion.

TBT is designed to tone the tummy, butt and thigh areas using controlled and selective movements. Minimum co-ordination required and suitable for all fitness levels.

YOGA will help you to feel connected and whole. With strong influences from Hatha and other traditional Yoga practices, this class will convey a feeling of balance achieved through the use of asana (postures) and pranayama (breath control). Pure Yoga involves a combination of surrender and effort and is ideal for those seeking good health and fitness.
