Hayley Armstrong

Hayley, DanceMax Principal, has been dancing almost as long as she could walk, and has more than 15 years experience teaching Tap, Jazz, Ballet and HipHop. 

Hayley's professional dance career includes performances at the Myer Music Bowl, a short film screened at the St Kilda & New Zealand Film Festivals, Crown Casino Spring Racing Carnival Opening and various fundraising events. Hayley is also a qualified Fitness Instructor and has a Diploma in Pilates Practition. 

Hayley has a true passion for dance and enjoys seeing the development and enjoyment of dance in her students. DanceMax was established in 2002 as a fun and friendly dance school creating an encouraging and welcoming environment for all ages across many dance styles.

Abbey O'Donnell

Abbey has been dancing for more than 15 years and has close to 10 years of dance teaching experience.

Abbey has completed the Advanced Level RAD Ballet Examinations and continues to further her dance technique taking regular dance classes for fitness and enjoyment. Abbey has a great attitude and classes are always fun and energetic. 

Abbey teaches classes in Tap, Jazz and Ballet at DanceMax. And she is the patient, caring and joyful teacher of our special Babies Creative Dance students.

Turanga Merito

Introducing a special guest teacher, Turanga is the veritable performer with a list of appearances and work that includes High School Musical: The Stage Show, The Lion King - Sydney Company, Williamstown Theatre's The Wedding Singer, Channel 9's Footy Show Grand Final and more notably, Australian Idol Top 100 finalist.

He will soon be seen as a cast member of West Side Story and on your TV screen on Channel 10's Neighbours, playing - what else - but a dance instructor!
